As the summer racing season concludes, Attack Racing proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of our athletes at both the mountain bike and road provincial championships.
On the trails…
At the Mountain Bike Provincials, our riders showcased incredible talent and determination across disciplines. In Short Track (XCC) racing, Isaac Aston took 1st place in U11 Boys; Kinsley Biskaborn and Vienna Biskaborn dominated the U13 Girls with 1st and 2nd place finishes. Tomas Liska-Gardiner secured 3rd in U15 Boys, and Maelle Burton and Breeze Biskaborn earned strong finishes in U15 Girls. Izzy Downing placed 4th in U17 Girls, while West McKay-Chagnon and Daniela Liska also captured top finishes in their categories.
In Cross-Country (XCO), Isaac Aston again finished 1st in U11 Boys, Freya Burton earned 3rd in U11 Girls, and Kinsley and Vienna Biskaborn finished 1st and 2nd in U13 Girls. Tomas Liska-Gardiner was the victor in U15 Boys, complemented by top 10 finishes from Maelle Burton, Breeze Biskaborn, Izzy Downing, Ethan Lambourn, and West McKay-Chagnon. Coaches Craig Linton and Daniela Liska also posted impressive finishes in masters categories.
The Team Relay combined Attack Racing and London Centennial Wheelers squads to a proud 3rd place finish, with riders West McKay-Chagnon, Izzy Downing, Ethan Lambourn, and Chris Pollett, who also contributed invaluable support with team logistics. A big thank you to Chris!
Later, in Northumberland…
On the road, Attack Racing continued its racing campaign: Tomas Liska-Gardiner took 1st place in the U15 Men’s road race, Maelle Burton earned 3rd in U15 Women, Izzy Downing just missed 3rd in the U17 sprint finish, while Harry Langford, Santiago Leal Quinones, and Ethan Lambourn finished strongly in road race, criterium, and time trial events. Izzy secured 2nd in the U17 Women’s criterium and 3rd in the time trial, with Ethan placing 7th in both events. These results reflect the versatility and tenacity of our athletes across disciplines.
Thanks Coach Craig!
This season also brings bittersweet news with Coach Craig Linton retiring. Craig has been the backbone of our mountain bike program, mentoring countless athletes with passion and expertise. We extend our deepest thanks and best wishes for his next chapter.
Additionally, with heavy hearts, we announce the closing of the Forest City Velodrome, a cherished hub for development and community. Though an era ends, it fuels our drive for new opportunities ahead.
Looking ahead, Attack Racing will take a short break through September to allow athletes to reset and settle into back-to-school routines. Meanwhile, coaches are focused on planning the 2026 track season, building toward the Junior Track Nationals in the spring. The team will bring renewed energy and ambition back to the boards as they continue to develop speed, tactics, and teamwork.
Thank you to all athletes, coaches, families, and supporters who made this season remarkable. The journey continues with strong legs, fierce spirit, and promising roads ahead.
