Attack Racing Logo

Attack Racing by Off the Front Sports has been around under many names — Team Attack and Kallisto-FCV most recently.

Values

Attack Racing is about more than just riding or crossing the line first.  Our team is driven by principles that our riders will take with them well beyond their racing and training

Character

We believe that the process of working towards your goals will teach more lessons than victories. Our riders learn discipline, self motivation and confidence in the face of adversity.

Teamwork

Our Team is greater than the sum of its parts. From our coaches to our riders we all understand that it takes a team to get to the line and it takes a team to provide top notch support to each other.

Fun

We believe that it’s in the best interests of our riders to focus on fun. Performance does not come from external pressure, but from within our hearts.

We are more than just a collection of people. We’re a team with history.  We have been developing youth riders, elite athletes, coaches and helping our sponsors for over 10 years.

Developing coaches and providing as much support to riders as possible is our mandate
Art Adams

Art Adams

Head Coach

As a NCCP trained Competition Development Coach, Art has many years of coaching experience. He has worked with athletes from the grassroots level to some of Canada’s most prominent cyclist’s. Art’s personal experiences from both motorcycle and bicycle road racing guides his emphasis on the mental aspects of sport. “Riding a bike is about fun, and riding it fast is easier if you remember that!”

Reg Ash

Coach

Reg has grown up facilitating sport for others through his volunteerism and business pursuits. Reg values community, health, and active lifestyles and believes the sport of cycling represents those values. As a builder, he is a board member of Off The Front Sports, and London Centennial Wheelers; as an organizer involved with the planning and execution of our team’s races and appearances; and as an analyzer tracking the performance of our athletes since becoming involved with the team.

Melissa Cooper

Coach

Melissa has been coaching track, road and mountain bike with Attack Racing since 2018. While all 3 disciplines have unique aspects, each one embodies her love of cycling. Over the years Melissa has broadened her coaching knowledge by taking courses through the OCA and NCCP, and continues to learn and grow along with the kids she coaches.

Matthew DiVittorio

Matthew DiVittorio

Coach

Now giving back as a coach, Matthew raced for Attack Racing as a Junior (U19) after beginning his racing career in 2013. Outside of cycling, Matthew works as a lifeguard and goes to school at Brock University. Enrolled in the Medical Sciences program, he plans to pursue a career in sports medicine or exercise science. A big guy, with a big heart, Matthew treats the team like his family!

David Ellyatt

Coach

Coach Dave has been coaching FCV VeloKids and with Attack Racing for many years. Dave acts as one of the team mechanics and uses his military experience for team projects, events planning and logistics. In years gone by, Dave competed locally and provincially on road, track and mountain bikes. “I love bikes and seeing kids go fast and through sports achieve their full potential, not just on bikes, but in life.”

Craig

Craig Linton

Coach

Craig wears many hats, serving on the Board and coaching VeloKids at FCV and coaching road and MTB with Attack. An experienced racer, Craig raced XC in the early 1990’s before starting a family and got back into racing in 2015. Over the past 10 years he has developed a love for road and track cycling as well. “I enjoy all forms of cycling, and love sharing it with the next generation of cyclists!”

Marten Mann

Coach

Marten brings over 15 years of elite level racing experience in multiple cycling disciplines and other endurance based sports, and has held coaching certifications for over 10 years. Marten still loves racing, but these days gets his greatest motivation developing our youth racers using his knowledge and years of racing experience.

Sarah Mann

Coach

As a recreational cyclist and runner for over fifteen years, Sarah loves to ride with our youngest team members teaching the fundamentals and building the base skills for their future in cycling, whether competitive or recreational. With 18 years in event management Sarah also loves efficiency, punctuality and having a good plan! Sarah smiles a lot and always looks for the bright side in life.

Daniel Nordemann DaSilva

Coach

Daniel has been racing road, track and cyclocross in our program since he was 11 years old. Now a professional racer with the X-Speed United Continental team, Daniel shares his experience in a way that kids can easily relate to. Young enough to remember what it’s like growing up in the sport and old enough to be a role model, Daniel coaches as often as his training and race schedule allow.

Amy White

Amy White

Coach

Amy is one of our busier coaches, working as a CPA, as the CFO of an athletic clothing company and volunteering with Forest City Velodrome, London Centennial Wheelers, Forest City Road Races and Off The Front Sports. Amy is a Masters road, cyclocross and gravel racer with Epic Sports Performance and uses that wealth of experience both on and off the bike to mentor and promote females in the sport and beyond.

Laurie

Laurie

Parent

"Our son has been a fortunate part of the team for six years now. Through the program he has developed and honed his skills from novice to experienced rider on both the road and the track with the help of a large team of dedicated coaches and volunteers. In addition, his team participation has allowed him to be exposed to other disciplines of cycling in the forms of mountain biking and cyclocross, thereby cultivating a dedication to training, and a life-long love of cycling in all its diverse forms."

Raffy

Raffy

Parent

"This team is a superb example of a grass-root, volunteer-based cycling club where parents, volunteers, and the community share in its operation and take pride in its achievements. This is a team that puts sportsmanship and integrity before winning and manages to achieve both. It is a pleasure to be associated with such a team!"

Nate

Nate

Rider

"Being a part of this team has helped me stay fit and healthy. It has allowed me form many friendships with not only kids from this team but from other teams as well. It has allowed me to travel to different places to race, like the Ontario Summer Games, and will allow me to travel to more places as I get older. It has taught me the importance of supporting others, and has let me learn from older kids on our team and from other teams as well. It has motivated me to keep riding a bike, because without this team, I would not be out riding and racing a bike like I do now."
